The Strength Within

The strength within a concept, object or person should be our formidable consideration; and this is the very formidable consideration why I use CSS. It’s great. It’s fun. It’s simply fantastic.

CSS has three major strengths that perhaps explain its almost unquantifiable popularity and influence among web designers and web developers. Any given informal discussion over coffee breaks and things of that sort, you can almost be certain that what they talk about is something related to CSS. The three major strengths of CSS are: it’s flexible, it’s lightweight and it has the ability to separate style from content. These things may seem insignificant to laymen but for experienced web design professionals these things spell S-U-C-C-E-S-S when it comes to creating highly effective pages.

Flexible

CSS allows designers to change given style or styles relevant to the whole site. This is because they can be defined with ease and convenience in only one place. CSS actually provides you a way to write separate styles in tune with HTML elements. This can literally translate to lesser time usage when creating a site; thus, allowing any designer for that matter to work on other things which are equally important.

Light Weight

Because CSS allows users to write pages using smaller and simpler html files, the result is a much light weight file. Using conventional HTML, you have to write a style for every given html tag. The simplification of writing pages provides you with more control and power than other conventional means would give you.

Content and Style Totally Separated

CSS gives you more options too as it lets you reuse content for some other purpose. CSS can do this because style and content are separate. You can style any single content in a number of ways because of this. The end result is designing experience that is less troublesome and demanding.
Considering all these reasons, we can indeed say that if you have not yet tried using it, well, you are way too far from the bandwagon.

Nevertheless, the list in my opinion is not exclusive. I know for a fact that you have your own reason why you think CSS is such a great way to write pages. And your reason or reasons may even be much better than mine. You can share your view here!
