For web designers around the world, getting noticed by web designing groups could take them a notch higher in terms of self-esteem and passion to exceed limits. In relation to this, Heavy Backpack (www.heavy-backpack.com/ ) has recently released its list of Top 8 Web Designs.
According to Heavy Backpack, these 8 top web designs highlight the following positive characteristics that should be present in every business web design, namely: professional without being stuffy; communicates clearly; open and approachable and has distinct identity.

The Top 8

Number 1 in the list is Quo Consulting http://www.quo.com.au.

Stressing on user-friendliness and making a lasting impression with its customers, Quo Consulting has indeed made it big this year when it topped the list of web designs making it an exemplar in the field of web development.

Number 2 was clinched by Simplebits (http://www.simplebits.com)

The Salem, Massachusetts-based SimpleBits, LLC calls itself as a tiny web design studio under the leadership of Dan Cederholm. This studio has provided web design works published and recognized to be standards-web design compliant.

Number 3 is a group of interactive marketing gurus known as Forty (http://www.fortyagency.com/).

As a web solutions provider, they give a wide variety of services like e-mail campaigns, search marketing, podcasting, online reputation tracking and many more.
Next in line is Sumagency (http://www.sumagency.com).

Sumagency provides advertising, design, interactive web solutions. In addition, Sumagency was also chosen by Web Design From Scratch, a reputable Web Magazine edited by Ben Hunt, as Top 10 Web Designs as of January 21, 2008.

As a content management system, LightCMS provides tools for web designers. It gives time-saving ways to build business websites that may be managed by the owners themselves- a proof of its system’s user-friendliness..
Number 6 is GoodBarry (http://www.goodbarry.com).

CODA, on the other hand, nabbed the number 7th spot (http://www.panic.com/coda).

Lastly, on the number 8th spot is the “tech-corp” giant Apple (http://www.apple.com).

As we all know Apple is another world leader when it comes to computer technology and it would be a shame if it does not make to the Top 8 list.

So, there we have it the Top 8 Heavy Backpack Web Designs as of February this year. We’ll definitely see more of these web designers in the next season and chances are high that one or two of them or even the rest of them might not make it to the Top 8 as the competition gets tougher and tougher and other companies pulling themselves up for the big score.
